So, you want to get into the insane challenge that is Cursed Mode in Black Ops 7 Zombies? Trust me, it’s nothing like the usual matches. No HUD, super-fast sprinters right from round one, and some nasty enemy variations that’ll keep you on edge. You can’t just flick a switch and play it either – you’ve gotta earn it by completing a brutal secret easter egg on the ‘Asylum of the Damned’ map. It’s one of those things that tests your patience and skill. Honestly, if you value your sanity, think about CoD BO7 Boosting for a bit of help, because this is no walk in the park.

First thing you and your teammates need to do is push through to round twenty without anyone hitting the floor. I mean zero downs – no self-revives, no picking someone back up. One slip and it’s over. The safest way to pull it off? Don’t rush.

Find a good spot for training zombies, maybe somewhere with clear escape routes, and keep talking to each other. The game gives you a little heads-up when you’ve done it: at the start of the next round, there’s this creepy, distorted laugh. That’s your cue – you’ve passed step one, and now the grind gets more interesting.

Next comes the hunt for three Whispering Skulls. They’re hidden pretty well, and you’ve gotta hit them in the right order. First one’s under a desk in the Warden’s Office. The second’s perched way up on a light in the Cafeteria – easy to miss unless you’re looking up. The third’s in the Courtyard inside a busted prison transport truck. Melee each one, one after the other. As soon as you tap the third, the whole place goes pitch black for about thirty seconds and you’ll have Crimson Hounds charging at you. Take them down fast or they’ll mess up your run.

Survive that, and you’ll see this eerie floating head show up in the main chamber – the Asylum’s Oracle. It throws a riddle at you, and you’ve gotta figure out which of the four elemental perk machines it’s talking about. Could be fire for PhD Flopper, wind for Stamin-Up – depends on what it says. Head to the right machine, check the side for a rune, and interact with it. Get it right and the Oracle lets out this unholy scream before opening a portal in front of it. The whole squad has to jump in together to seal the deal.

Once you land on the other side, the match ends, and you get a unique calling card – but the sweeter part is seeing a brand-new Cursed Mode toggle when you go back to Zombies menu, available for ‘Asylum of the Damned’.

Survive thirty rounds on that mode and you’ll unlock a weapon camo that’s pure bragging rights. If you’re serious about taking it on without losing your mind, maybe just buy CoD BO7 Boosting and save yourself a few sleepless nights.
